Tables

This scenario is testing interoperability of basic and more advanced table functionality.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Create a new text document.
  2. Step 2: Insert a table with 5 rows and 3 columns
  3. Step 3: Select the first two cells in row 1 and column 1 and 2 and merge the cells
  4. Step 4: Select all cells in the last row and merge the cells
  5. Step 5: Enter some text in all the cells
  6. Step 6: Increase the height of the last row using the mouse
  7. Step 7: Change the column widths
  8. Step 8: Set the last row to be bottom-right aligned
  9. Step 9: Give the last row a doubled bottom border
  10. Step 10: Add some other features as you like, e.g. rotated/vertical text or a nested table
  11. Step 11: Save the document as [table_xxxx.odt]

  2. Borders
  3. Rotated/vertical text
  4. Header Rows
  5. Nested Tables
  6. Images/Shapes within tables
  7. Tables in Header/Footer, table footnotes/endnotes
  8. Different modes for column width
  9. Different cell alignments
  10. Large tables (> 256 columns)
