Scenario on text direction

Steps

  1. Start a new document
  2. Write a paragraph with the text; “This is LTR!”
  3. Write a paragraph with the text; “This is RTL!” and use the applications feature to turn the paragraph to be right-to-left. The paragraph should have a visual alignment to the right of the page and the exclamation mark is the left most character on the line.
  4. Write a paragraph with the text; “RTL, left aligned” and mark the paragraph to be right-to-left and then make the paragraph be visually left-aligned.
  5. Save the document as “text-directionality”

Please follow the file name convention outlined in the faq. Note that the PDF files can be included as a previewing aid, but uploading the ODF files is much more important.
