We aim to support OpenDocument Text format in Aspose.Words as best as possible. The challenges we are facing are the same as when converting between OpenDocument and OOXML because our product was designed to best support Microsoft Word document structures.

In our work we are always looking at “big brothers” OpenOffice and Microsoft Word to check how well they support each feature and trying to do no worse and sometimes better when we are lucky.

This is our first time at ODF Plugfest, but we have been supporting conversion to/from ODT for about 2 years already. The plan is just to sit down and focus and be productive. And meet a bunch of great people of course.
