As co-owner of Master It (MIT Office) responsible for our document output management solutions MIT Office and iWriter. Where MIT Office is document output solution for Microsoft Office, our brand new iWriter product is based on the new Open Document Format standard (ODF) and can be used from both Ms Word as OpenOffice Writer or from your FireFox, Safari or Internet Explorer. Our current product MIT Office is used within more than 125 organizations, most of them are Dutch governmental institutions.

I will be attending the plugfest and will be pleased to meet with other participants on the following topics:

1. I am willing to talk on any related topic of mutual interest, maybe something you want to share with me?
2. I am particular interested in portability of foreign elements and fields of the ODT format between different Office Suites especially OO Writer and Ms Office Word. Our current experience in exchanging ODT documents between Word 2007 SP2 and Writer 2.4 (and up) and Vice-versa is one of losing all foreign elements and partially losing field data.
3. Section protection in odt; when exchanging odt documents between Word and Writer protected sections are lost, how to prevent this?
